E-ink phone proto

CEATEC 2007 in Japan unveiled a prototype of an unusual mobile phone. This clamshell comes with electronic-based alphanumeric keys. Thus the symbols displayed on the keys can get changed. It’s not yet clear whether the device would go for mass production or be comfortable to handle it. For sure is one thing, the device features lower power consumption compared to the models with the touch screen instead of the keyboard.
